Collection and processing of personal data

Skytender stores your personal information if you provide it to us yourself, for example via our contact form.
Furthermore, Skytender analyses traffic on its website in order to understand our customers requirements and, based on these, to continually improve our site.

Limitations on use and disclosure of personal data

Skytender will process and use your personal data only in connection with services related to the website skytendersolutions.com. This enables us to offer you a customized service and/or can also save you from having to enter the same information twice. We only utilize as much information as is necessary. We will not share your personal data with third parties. If Government agencies or authorities ask us to collect or share personal data, we will do so only within the appropriate legal frameworks. We require our employees, suppliers and partners to maintain confidentiality and data secrecy in accordance with applicable law.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files containing a string of characters that can be placed on your computer or mobile device that uniquely identify your browser or device. Cookies allow a site or services to know if your computer or device has visited that site or service before. Cookies can then be used to help understand how the site or service is being used, help you navigate between pages efficiently, help remember your preferences, and generally improve your browsing experience. You can decide for yourself whether our website service is allowed to save Cookies on your computer or not. You can opt to change your browser settings so that they do not allow Cookies to be accepted or saved at any time. Alternatively, you can opt to be shown a warning message every time before you accept Cookies or you can set your browser up in such a way that it only accepts Cookies from certain websites. You can also delete Cookies that have already been saved at any time. Note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, some parts of our service may not work properly.

Data security

Skytender uses technical and organizational security measures to protect the data we hold about you against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, deletion or unauthorized access. Our security measures are being improved continuously as new technology develops. The processing and transmission of data is encrypted by the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol.

Web analysis services (Matomo)

We use the web analysis services Matomo (formerly known as Piwik) to analyze the use of the Website in general and to gain insights into how to improve our offering. The web analysis services use Cookies to collect data. The information generated in this process (e.g. IP address and browser type) can be transmitted, after being rendered anonymous, to a server of the web analysis service in Germany or abroad to be saved and processed there. As outlined above you can decide for yourself whether our website is allowed to use Cookies on your computer or not. You can opt to change your browser settings so that they do not allow Cookies to be accepted or saved at any time.

Usage of Google Fonts

This website uses external fonts from the Google Fonts library. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Inc. („Google“). These web fonts are integrated by a server call, usually from a server operated by Google in the USA. This tells the server which of our web pages you have visited. The IP address of the browser running on the visitor’s device is also stored by Google. Google Fonts are used for providing an appealing presentation of our web pages. Further information can be found in Google’s data privacy policy, which you can access here https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Integration of Google Maps

We use the services offered by Google Maps on this website. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to conveniently use the map function. By visiting the website, Google is notified that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This takes place regardless of whether Google provides a user account with which you are logged in, or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your information is directly associated with your account. If you do not want your visit to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before using related websites. Google stores your data as user profiles, and uses it for advertising and market research purposes, and/or for a needs-based design of its website. Such an analysis takes place in particular (even for users are not logged in) to provide demand-driven advertising, and to inform other users on the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right. Please refer to the data privacy policy published by the plugin provider for more information about the purpose and scope of how data is collected and processed by the provider. There you will also find further details about your rights in this respect and the browser configuration options for protecting your privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield framework, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Integration of YouTube videos

We have integrated YouTube videos on our web pages, which are stored on the YouTube website at https://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from their pages. We have no influence over the transmission of this data. By visiting the website, YouTube is notified that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This takes place regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account with which you are logged in, or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your information is directly associated with your account. If you do not want your visit to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out before clicking the Play button. YouTube stores your data as user profiles, and uses it for advertising and market research purposes, and/or for a needs-based design of its website. Such an analysis takes place in particular (even for users are not logged in) to provide demand-driven advertising, and to inform other users on the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right. Please refer to YouTube’s data privacy policy for more information about the purpose and scope of how data is collected and processed by YouTube. There you will also find further details about your rights and the browser configuration options for protecting your privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
