With its new study, the IATA focuses on the important issue of single-use plastic products (SUPP) in aviation. Plastic packaging (and aluminum cans) and wrappings have been a significant challenge for airlines and caterers for years when it comes to achieving greater sustainability and improving service efficiency.

With our water, soda, and coffee trolleys, we have developed a solution which addresses the waste issues and even goes beyond the recommendations mentioned in the study.
By using pre-filled water tanks, we supply our trolleys directly with fresh drinking water of the highest quality. The onboard drinking water—cited in the study as the “best option”—is often of low quality and sometimes even contaminated. Large plastic containers or standard 1.5-litre water bottles as alternatives are unnecessary with our solution. Furthermore, we are currently developing with partners an integrated interface enabling an automatic refill from a water trolly or ultimately from the on board water supply – in a quality your passengers should expect.
At the WTCE 24 in Hamburg, we would be delighted to demonstrate our solutions to you. Visit us at our stand 1G25.
We look forward to your questions and suggestions.
